Emerson Apparatus is seeking an experienced Machinist to join our small manufacturing company.
We’ve been a leader in providing high quality laboratory testing equipment since 1908 to many various industries. We are looking for a Full-time machinist with skill in CNC Mills along with some conventional machines.
We are hoping to find the right person with experience, work ethic and a positive attitude to join our team.
Wage depends on experience and knowledge.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of machine shop practices. Setup, operate and programming of CNC Mills. CNC Lathe experience a plus.
- Wide variety of materials from Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Steel, Brass/Bronze, Plastics
- Production on runs from 1 to 100 and everything in between
- Must be comfortable working to tolerances down to +/- .0005
- Safely operate and maintain manufacturing equipment
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Set up and adjust machines for production runs
- Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills a plus
- Dependable transportation on a must
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
