We are seeking a motivated individual who will be able to support the rapid growth of our manufacturing capabilities to join our team. The Parts Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining check-in/outs, stocking, replenishing and organization of inventory.

Responsibilities:
- Track Stock : Continuously monitor inventory levels of equipment, parts, and tools.
- Manage Equipment : Oversee the check-in and check-out process for personnel and thoroughly inspect all returned items.
- Troubleshoot : Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in collaboration with the correct personnel.
- Parts Readiness: Perform incoming inspection of parts to make sure they are conforming to quality and specifications before being put into service.
- Optimize Storage: Organize the maintenance shop, ensuring frequently used items are highly visible and easily accessible compared to infrequently used items.
- Procurement: Prepare and dispatch purchase orders, including stocking orders, re-orders, and special orders.
- Cross Department Support: Collaborate with other departments to manage and fulfill their specific ordering needs.
- Optimization: Maintain optimal stock levels and peak operational condition for all critical production consumables - such as pelletizer rotors, rollers, and screens.
- Vendor Negotiation : Confer with vendors to secure favorable pricing, quotes, and timely deliveries.
- Invoice Management: Identify and correct invoice discrepancies, approve them, and route them to accounting in a timely manner.
- Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving any ongoing vendor disputes or delivery issues.
- System Maintenance : Manage and update electronic Master Equipment List and corresponding physical Asset ID tags, apply established Preventative Maintenance and Calibration tests to new equipment, track inventory levels to avoid stock-out situations.
- Facility upkeep: Assist with the general organization and cleanliness of the maintenance shop.
