We're looking for an experienced Lawn & Landscape Maintenance Technician to help maintain some of Central Maine's finest residential and commercial properties. If you enjoy working outdoors, creating beautifully maintained landscapes, and seeing the results of your hard work every day, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do:
Lawn Mowing & Property Care
Operate commercial zero-turn, stand-on, and walk-behind mowers safely and efficiently
Create clean, professional lawn stripes
String trim around trees, fences, buildings, and landscape features
Edge sidewalks, driveways, patios, and flower beds
Blow off hard surfaces and leave every property clean before departing
Perform quality inspections to ensure work meets company standards
Flower Bed Maintenance
Weed landscape beds by hand and with approved tools
Cultivate beds to promote healthy plant growth
Prune shrubs, ornamental trees, and perennials
Deadhead flowers and remove damaged plant material
Install mulch with clean, professional edges
Identify weeds, pests, and plant health concerns
Landscape Enhancements
Spring and fall cleanups
Seasonal pruning
Mulch installation
Small planting projects
Lawn touch-ups and property improvements
What Success Looks Like... At the end of each day:
- Lawns are neatly striped and professionally maintained.
- Flower beds are clean, healthy, and weed-free.
- Sidewalks and driveways have crisp edges.
- Equipment is cleaned and ready for tomorrow.
- Customers are impressed before they even get out of their vehicle.
Qualifications
Required:
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Comfortable working outdoors throughout the season
Ability to safely operate commercial lawn equipment
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Preferred:
Previous commercial mowing experience
Experience with pruning and plant care
Plant identification knowledge
Landscape maintenance experience
Experience pulling trailers or operating compact equipment
