We are seeking a skilled Licensed Master Plumber to serve as a Commercial Plumbing Foreman on projects throughout Greater Portland and Southern Maine. The ideal candidate has experience leading commercial field operations and supervising a crew of 2–6 plumbers and helpers.
This role coordinates daily jobsite activities, maintains productivity and quality, ensures compliance with Maine plumbing codes, and delivers projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead a crew of 2–6 plumbing helpers and apprentices.
- Plan and coordinate daily commercial plumbing installation.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, BIM layouts, and schedules.
- Install and oversee domestic water, sanitary/storm drainage, gas, hydronic, and specialty plumbing systems.
- Coordinate with contractors, project managers, other trades, and inspectors.
- Manage labor, equipment, materials, and workflow to maintain schedules.
- Lead safety meetings and enforce company safety policies.
- Ensure compliance with Maine plumbing code and project specifications.
- Maintain daily reports, labor tracking, and production records.
- Mentor apprentices and participate in planning, scheduling, and coordination meetings.
Qualifications
Required
- Current Maine Master Plumber License
- 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience
- Experience leading crews of 2–6 field personnel
- Strong blueprint and specification reading skills
- Knowledge of commercial construction methods and sequencing
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work on active construction sites and lift 50+ pounds
Preferred
- Experience with schools, healthcare, manufacturing, municipal, or large commercial projects
- OSHA 30 certification
- BIM/VDC coordination experience
- Medical gas certification
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software

Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
