Entry-Level Preventative Maintenance HVAC Technician
Position Summary: We are looking for an Entry-Level Preventative Maintenance HVAC Technician to join our new Maintenance Solutions & Service department. In this role, you will be the frontline of our maintenance operations, ensuring that mechanical systems run efficiently and reliably for our clients. Your day-to-day will focus on executing comprehensive preventative maintenance tasks across a diverse portfolio of commercial facilities.
This position is designed for an eager, mechanically minded individual who wants to start a career HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanical trade. We provide onsite training, tools, and educational support necessary to turn this entry-level role into a lifelong, rewarding career.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on commercial and residential HVAC systems, including filter changes, belt replacements, coil cleaning, and system inspections.
- Service equipment efficiently across various types of commercial facilities
- Identify and report potential system issues or necessary repairs to senior technicians and the service management team.
- Maintain accurate digital logs of all maintenance performed, equipment conditions, and hours worked.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with facility managers and property owners while on site.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked company-provided vehicle.
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first mindset.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a strong willingness to learn the trade.
- Prior experience in HVAC, facility maintenance, construction, or a vocational program is a plus, but not strictly required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for operating the company vehicle).
- Ability to comfortably lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
