Dara Bistro is a small 32 seat restaurant, serving as a coffee shop in the morning and a formal fine dining restaurant by night. It's a nice mix of being a fast paced family friendly spot in the mornings, and a proper date night experience at night. Most of our customers are regulars, and we really love them! We are seeking a bit of a unicorn of a person, and are more interested in training the person with the right personality and communication skills than finding someone who has every skill already. This job is an Hourly paid position, with the ability to earn more money through commissions on private party bookings. We will have you working Wednesday through Sunday, from 10 or 11am until 7 or 8pm(with a one hour lunch break built in). The average day would look like:
11:00-12:45, assisting with closing down the coffeeshop, checking in with the daytime employees about scheduling needs, placing orders for Coffee and Alcohol, cashing out the register from the morning
12:45-2:00, responding to customer emails about private parties or special dinner requests, making marketing posts/working on the monthly email
2:00-3:00, Lunch Hour
3:00-5:00/6:00, Office Work, light bookkeeping, update the dinner menus, more time to respond to private party inquiries or if there is a private party, coordinating with the dinner staff to set up for the event properly.
5:00/6:00-7:00/8:00, helping in the dining room with hosting, food running, dishwashing, bartending.
