Job Description:
The Region Engineer is the engineering authority in the region overseeing the capital program, asset management, traffic engineering, access management, and utility permitting. This position provides guidance for both maintenance and project development, oversees Rural Asset Management Projects, plans and prioritizes capital improvements in conjunction with development of the Region's maintenance workplan. The Region Engineer is a liaison for the municipalities through management of the MPI program. The Region Engineer plays a vital role in providing training in the region.
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:
Registration as a Professional Engineer and Four (4) years’ work experience in Civil Engineering at the professional level (beyond such licensure) to include one (1) year experience demonstrating progressively responsible duties in program or project management and/or management responsibilities..
