The City of Biddeford greatly values employee wellness and work/life balance. Many of our positions have a four-day work week (Fridays off!). The Biddeford Police Department is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team part-time.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to leadership within the police department
- Complete purchase orders and process invoices for payment as required
- Assist with maintaining an organized filing system for digital documents
- Exist as a backup for payroll processing
- Help in updating and maintaining department wide schedule
- Manage invoicing for outside agencies for a variety of services
- Support team members with administrative tasks as needed to enhance overall productivity
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative role (or similar position)
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Google Suite applications
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- A willingness to demonstrate a commitment to the City of Biddeford's work around diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion
