Major Duties (Job Description)
- You will serve as the Tier II Local Lead in the Program Management (PM) Competency, specifically as the lead of the Acquisition, Processes and Tools Division supervising up to 70 employees working in the competency.
- You will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Division, including miscellaneous data calls and other routing administrative requirements.
- You will lead Division Reviews, hold periodic Career Review Boards with direct reports to assist supervisors in managing career progression for employees.
- You will be working with stakeholder Point of Contacts (POCs), collect customer provided semi-annual supervisory input for embedded competency assigned personnel performance evaluations.
- You will provide expert communication between Acquisition Program Offices, other Echelon II stakeholders, and Echelon III stakeholders supporting programs/projects as needed to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- You will work closely with the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific 6.0 Local Competency Lead to maintain and improve the Embedded Workforce Portal.
- You will provide feedback to competency, portfolio and business unit leadership on plans, progress, risks and issues.
- You will coordinates across competency, portfolio and business unit boundaries to achieve satisfactory results.
- You will manage financial resources and workforce based on organizational goals and budget limitations.
Qualification Summary
NM- 05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: supervising personnel executing life cycle program management of major platforms; and identifying and analyzing problems to weigh relevance and accuracy of information to evaluate alternative perspectives and solutions. NM-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: supervising personnel executing life cycle program management of major platforms with guidance; and assisting with identifying and analyzing problems to weigh relevance and accuracy of information to evaluate alternative perspectives and solutions.
