Yarmouth High School is seeking an enthusiastic educator to serve as advisor of the YHS Black Students Union. This club meets multiple times per month, with meetings taking place during the school day and after school. The mission of the Black Students Union is as follows:
We discuss and identify solutions for issues around the school, learn about prominent Black figures, partnering with other BSUs for events, and we also host fun movie nights! We are always flexible and adapt based on what our members would like to do for the day and what we see as necessary to address.
Interested applicants need to hold up-to-date CHRC certification or be willing to obtain one.
Application deadline is rolling, with an initial review of candidates on Friday, November 8.
