About the Position
The Account Executive will call on hospitals and labs throughout North Boston, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine to sell a portfolio of diagnostics products (capital, media, and reagents) within Women's Health, Microbiology, and Molecular. The person in this role will develop and implement a territory and strategic account sales plan involving multiple stakeholders (clinical lab, infectious disease clinicians, pharmacy, hospital administration, purchasing, etc.) in the growth of the assigned products and lead the development of an account plan specific to each hospital’s economic and strategic business drivers. This Account Executive acts as a quarterback in the territory and will collaborate with specialists, national accounts, and distribution to support customers and growth and long term retention activities.
About the Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biology, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in hospital sales, preferably in the clinical diagnostics arena
- Experience navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
