The Bramhall Pub in Portland's West End is hiring for Bar Manager.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of restaurant management experience with a proven track record of developing team members and delivering great guest experiences. The best candidate must understand the key elements that contribute to a successful restaurant.
Bar Manager duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar, restaurant, walk in, prep kitchen, and dry storage
-Provide, perform, or procure routine maintenance, as well as contact specialists for unique tasks
-Monitor and control costs of spirits, beer, wine, sodas, produce, and dry goods.
-Order beer, wine, soda, spirits, bitters, and produce from vendors
-Create and maintain relationships with distributors, producers, and vendors
-Coordinate with chef regarding kitchen specials, outages, menus, and events
-Coordinate with event coordinator for buy-outs and large parties
-Schedule staff to a reasonable and efficient level, while maintaining employment and labor costs and ensuring excellent guest experience
-Manage all interpersonal relationships with staff, mitigate any issues therein, and apply appropriate disciplinary action as required
-Perform or be able to perform any and all roles in the restaurant
-Maintain active lines of communication with other managers and ownership, and attend weekly meetings with said parties
-Communicate any issues, special needs, events, or problems with all members of staff in clear, direct, and honest language
-Post job openings, screen and interview candidates, and hire/on-board new members of staff
-If necessary, apply disciplinary action up to and including termination
