University Credit Union, UCU, a growing credit union in Maine, is seeking an accomplished industry leader to fill our Community Engagement Manager (CEM) position in Gorham, Maine. This person would support community engagement and development by building authentic relationships with key stakeholders in support of the credit union’s long-term success, promote its image and drive a positive, lasting community-centered impact. This person would at times also be responsible for assisting members with opening accounts and coordination of other services available at our Gorham location. The CEM would also host and provide financial workshops at local community functions and events to promote financial literacy in line with the credit union's mission, participate in and attend community events such as networking, professional development and community driven initiatives, and identify local sponsorship opportunities that align with credit union strategy.
