Brigid Farm is seeking a skilled Cannabis Trimmer to join our team on a contract basis.
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Cannabis Trimmer to help us maintain the quality and appearance of our cannabis plants. As a 1099 contractor, you will play a crucial role in the trimming process, ensuring that each product meets our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trim cannabis plants to remove excess leaves and stems, ensuring a clean and professional appearance.
- Work with various strains and sizes of plants, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Follow specific trimming guidelines and techniques to meet company standards.
- Inspect trimmed cannabis for quality and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Report any issues or concerns to the lead trimmer or management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cannabis trimming or a similar role (preferred).
- Familiarity with different trimming techniques and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Knowledge of cannabis plant anatomy and growth stages is a plus.
- Must be at least 21 years old and comply with all state and federal regulations.
- Must have a current Registry Identification Card for the Medical Program with The Office Of Cannabis Policy.
Contract Details:
- This is a 1099 contractor position; you will be responsible for your own taxes and benefits.
- Compensation is based on per pound of trim, at a rate of $125 /lb.
- Flexible hours, but availability to work during peak harvest times is essential.
