We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and answering any initial questions.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including specials and culinary pairings to enhance the dining experience.
- Prepare and serve food items while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Process payments using cash registers or POS systems, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Uphold fine dining standards by providing attentive service and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is highly desirable.
- Strong guest service skills with an ability to engage positively with customers.
- Sales experience is a plus, as upselling menu items can enhance guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance.
- A culinary background or training can be beneficial but is not required.
