The Shipyard Brew Haus is happy to announce we seek a qualified Seasonal Dishwasher/Prep/Housekeeping Associates for immediate hire at our brewpub in Newry, Maine for the upcoming season. We should meet if you want to be a part of a growing and dynamic team.
We are an independent, Maine-owned company operating successful brewpubs in ME. We pride ourselves on fresh food, hand crafted beers, exceptional hospitality, and legendary atmosphere! Our menu focuses on creative pub fare. You will benefit from individual training and there is ample room for you to share your culinary experience. Some of the responsibilities of our Kitchen Staff, Line Cooks, and Dishwashers include:
- Prepare recipes to order for timing, quality, and consistency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, stocked, and organized workstation according to company standards, health department regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform shared kitchen team tasks including but not limited to: cleaning and organizing, opening and closing the kitchen, receiving orders, etc.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
- Stock and use all cleaning supplies as intended.
- Complete other duties as assigned in support of the business.
We are seeking hard-working, driven Kitchen Staff, Line Cooks, and Dishwashers who meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
- Can meet physical demands of position including pulling, pushing, carrying, lifting, standing for extended periods of time.
