The Progress Center is seeking individuals to be a part of our growing Children's Services Team. Children Services provides in-home supports assisting children with intellectual disabilities within the home and/or community. Qualities include good communication, a desire to make a difference, enjoy working with children, and the ability to function independently while performing job responsibilities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide in-home support services to children and their families in the home and community settings with particular emphasis on behavior management, skill development, physical development and activities of daily living.
- Follow the individual treatment plan and accurately document services provided to the child and family.
- Participate in scheduled monthly staff meetings.
Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Required. (Higher Education is Preferred)
- Valid driver's license
- A reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Experience working with children with autism or intellectual disabilities (Desired, not required)
- A positive attitude, high energy level and creativity
Compensation:
- Part-time positions available
- Hourly wage based on education, experience, and certification
- $0.50/hour wage increase once employee receives Behavioral Health Professional certification
