Assistant will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining cannabis plants in an indoor environment. Your expertise in gardening, data collection, and plant care will contribute to the success of our operation.
Responsibilities:
- Plant and maintain a cannabis, ensuring proper watering, fertilization, and pest control
- Monitor plant growth and health
- Collect and record data on plant growth, yields, and environmental conditions
- Assist with the development and implementation of growing strategies
- Operate and maintain growing equipment and machinery
- Nutrient mixing, and understanding
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in gardening, farming, or landscaping
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring and mixing fertilizers
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in horticulture
- Understanding of indoor grow operations and environmental controls is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is beneficial
Pay:
- This is determined after an interview and based on your knowledge and experience with growing. The range is $19-$25 as we are willing to interview individuals who are new to cannabis, and experienced growers as well
Hours:
- Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
- Saturday and Sunday 7:30am-11:30am (1 weekend per month)
Requirements:
- Background checks through the OCP of Maine are required to do this job
- No felony charges
- No cannabis use during working hours
