Nourishing the North Shore (NNS) is seeking a highly organized, solutions-oriented Volunteer & Administration Manager to lead and develop key projects that strengthen our growing organization. This year-round, part-time role reports directly to the Executive Director and works collaboratively with staff to implement shared strategic initiatives that expand our impact and operational capacity.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, coordinating people, and translating strategy into action. The Volunteer & Administration Manager will play a central role in strengthening our volunteer program and supporting core administrative and operational functions that are critical to the success and sustainability of a small, mission-driven nonprofit.
Why This Role Matters
At Nourishing the North Shore, volunteers are not simply helpers — they are partners in our mission. As a small organization, we rely on a strong, engaged volunteer community to deliver programs, host fundraising events, expand our reach, and serve as ambassadors in the community. An effective volunteer program allows us to serve more people, steward donor relationships, and build future leaders for our organization.
This role is a multiplier position: by strengthening volunteer systems and administrative infrastructure, the Volunteer & Administration Manager helps ensure that every staff hour, volunteer shift, and donor dollar has greater impact.
