About the Role
A New England based brand is hitting the road for a high-energy sampling tour across the Northeast, and we’re looking for a Tour Manager to lead the charge. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on the road, enjoys leading teams, and knows how to bring a brand to life through memorable, well-executed events. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day tour operations, leading Brand Ambassadors, and ensuring every stop delivers an outstanding consumer experience.
In addition, this role will serve as a key client-facing lead on the ground, working closely with the corporate team, agency partners, and local franchise teams (including baristas) for each tour stop. The Tour Manager will be responsible for fostering positive relationships, ensuring alignment with brand standards, and creating a seamless, engaging experience for franchise stakeholders. This includes identifying “surprise & delight” sampling opportunities on off-event days to further engage communities and extend the reach of the tour.

Reports to: Senior Account Manager
What You’ll Do
· Oversee all aspects of on-site sampling events from setup through breakdown
· Serve as the primary on-site lead for events, partners, and client communication
· Ensure every activation reflects franchise brand standards and energy
· Transport all equipment and supplies to and from the venue. Installs and dismantles all elements of the event setup according to schedule, in a safe manner.
· Identify and execute “surprise & delight” sampling activations on non-event days to drive incremental brand recognition
· Drive the sampling vehicle to and from storage and event locations
o Valid driver’s license required; clean driving record required
o Comfortable driving a branded van or similar vehicle
· Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization (inside and out)
· Ensure the vehicle is fully stocked, fueled, and event-ready at all times
· Supervise and support Brand Ambassadors during events
· Delegate roles and maintain strong team communication
· Keep team energy high and aligned with brand expectations
· Track and manage product, supplies, and event materials
· Ensure proper inventory levels for all scheduled events
· Coordinate restocking and organization between tour stops
· Capture clear, usable photo and video content (smartphone-level) for recaps and social use.
· Ensure content highlights engagement, setup, and overall experience
· Provide timely and accurate assets for post-event recaps and reporting – including recommendations for changes/improvements.
· Track sampling numbers, engagement, and event metrics
· Submit timely post-event reports
· Share insights and recommendations to improve performance
· Approximately 75 events across the Northeast
· Planned and opportunistic “surprise & delight” sampling activations, including local business outreach, franchise visits, and PR/community drops to extend tour impact beyond scheduled events.
· Must be available for tour training prior to the start of the program
Breakdown:
· Maine / New Hampshire: ~50%
· Massachusetts / Rhode Island: ~20% (primarily Southern MA)
· Connecticut: ~10%
Additional travel includes:
· Week-long Pennsylvania trip
· Long weekend in Troy, NY
· Possible Florida Trip
Travel Expectations:
· Events 3+ hours from HQ are typically grouped into multi-day trips
· Regular overnight travel required
· This role requires consistent weekend availability and extended event days, including holiday event dates
· Additional events may be added, primarily in ME/NH
What We’re Looking For :
· 3+ years of experience in event marketing, brand activations, or experiential tours
· Proven experience in food and beverage service is required for this role; ServSafe certification is a plus.
· Skilled in driving a van or food/sampling vehicle
· Prior leadership or team management experience preferred
· Valid drivers license required and a clean driving record
· Current medical card or ability to obtain one
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the fly
· Comfortable with travel and flexible schedules (including every weekend)
· Basic photo/video capture skills (smartphone-level is great)
· Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and assist with event setup/breakdown
· Comfortable standing for extended periods during events
· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Compensation & Schedule
· Weekly Pay: starting at $1,300 per week & up (based on experience), plus per diem and covered travel accommodations.
· Average 40–50 hours per week, including weekends
Travel Accommodations
· Company vehicle provided for all tour-related travel
· Hotel accommodations covered for overnight trips
· Daily per diem provided during travel
Bonus Opportunity
· End-of-tour performance bonus ($500–$1,500) based on performance, reliability, and successful execution of the full tour
