Position Overview:
We’re looking for a passionate and imaginative Creative Deli Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll combine culinary creativity with exceptional customer service to craft high-quality deli items, develop unique menu offerings, and ensure an outstanding guest experience. Key ResponsibilitiesCulinary Creation & Preparation
- Prepare a variety of deli foods, sandwiches, salads, and specialty ever-changing entrees with a focus on creativity and presentation.
- Develop new recipes, daily sandwich specials, and seasonal menu ideas that reflect current food trends.
- Ensure consistent portioning, flavor profiles, and visual appeal for all items.
Customer Experience
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers, offering recommendations and answering questions about ingredients or preparation methods.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere at the deli counter with high energy and professionalism.
Quality & Safety
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures in compliance with health regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area.
- Monitor product freshness and rotate items to ensure top quality.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a deli, café, restaurant, or culinary environment (preferred).
- Strong creative cooking skills and knowledge of flavor combinations.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for food.

Schedule
- Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Shifts are 8:30/9:30-4/4:30 PM.
*This job is for our Kennebunk location, but we also have a part-time opening in the kitchen in our Biddeford location as well.*
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 per week
