Training will provide comprehensive steps to rapidly expand your knowledge in automatic and overhead door troubleshooting, inspections, repairs and installations.
Ideal candidates are those with proof of a strong technology aptitude, power tool confidence and appreciation for a progressive and positive work culture.
Other considerations include hobbies/trade histories requiring any of the following capabilities: electrical, mechanical, computer, video gaming, construction/carpentry, electronics, HVAC.
This is an ideal position if you enjoy working with your hands, are technology invested and want to learn a unique and interesting trade with rapid pay and promotion advancement within your control. Work conditions include variety in work environments at various commercial customer locations. Positions are available for both starting your day either from our Lewiston office or directly from your home depending on where you are located.
Field Service Technician Requirements:
- Confident and experienced in power tool usage
- Adaptable to various work/weather/business conditions
- Patient problem solver
- Ability to lift 75 pounds, bend/lift/twist safely and work overhead frequently
Technicians must be able to start early or end late on occasion as the customer’s needs dictate. Normal service hours are 7am-4pm M-F. Overtime is often required and averages about 5 hours perweek per trained technician. Technicians are trained to take a rotation every few weeks for being on call once training is completed.

Responsibilities
- Perform commercial on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of manual, automatic and overhead doors using hand and power tools.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose operator and mechanical issues.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper equipment functionality.
- Conduct routine inspections and planned maintenance to enhance equipment longevity.
- Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service and support to clients.
- Using advanced customer management software to perform job duties, estimates and detailed customer records.

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
