Harpswell Auto Sales is a family-owned, high-volume used car dealership selling over 150 vehicles per month across three locations—and we’re continuing to grow. As we expand, we’re looking to add a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to our team.
We are seeking an ambitious technician who takes pride in their work, values quality craftsmanship, and is always striving to learn and improve. This role is ideal for a self-starter and problem solver who can work both independently and as part of a team. We are currently hiring “B” Technicians and above.
This position involves a strong focus on independent diagnostics and repair, with careful attention to detail to ensure all vehicles meet Maine State Inspection Guidelines. Our goal is simple: deliver safe, reliable vehicles to every customer.

Requirements:
- Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Team-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with shop equipment (lifts, diagnostic tools, etc.)
- Knowledge of safety and environmental standards
- Experience with preventive maintenance
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical Degree is a plus)
- ASE Certification is a plus
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Maine State Inspection License
