Two Fat Cats Bakery is looking for year-round, part-time kitchen team member to join our West End location at 175 Spring Street in the Nightingale building. Popular and dynamic, the cafe offers the best in rustic pastries, breakfast, lunch, and wine service. We are looking for a candidate who is good natured, detail oriented, has kitchen experience, and loves to work the line making sandwiches, soups and breakfast items.
Two Fat Cats West End operating hours are Wed - Sat 7:30am - 4pm and Sundays 9am-3pm. Weekends are mandatory for this position.
This is a busy, fast paced kitchen! The position is primarily a line cook position that requires consistency, adherence to quality standards, and efficiency. But other responsibilities include:
faithfully following recipes
accurate measuring and weighing
collaboration on menu development
adherence to safety protocols
cleanliness in the kitchen and our work environment
We are looking for an individual who is respectful and polite, has a sense of humor, team focused, and takes pride in their work. Professional kitchen experience is a must - at least two years is preferred.
