Responsibilities

Safely operate different types of vehicles including box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles for delivery routes.
Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
Manage the pickup and delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking via mobile devices.
Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Assist with warehouse operations when necessary, including moving inventory and supporting manual handling tasks.
Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that arise.

Experience

Previous delivery driver experience or courier roles demonstrating familiarity with route driving and load management.
Warehouse experience or knowledge of warehouse operations, including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks.
Experience with commercial driving, especially operating box trucks or vans with manual transmission.
Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace.
Ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT standards, and safety protocols during all driving activities.
Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmation, and communication purposes.
