Role Summary:
The Nail Technician role provides a variety of nail care services and treatments designed to increase, improve, or maintain the health and appearance of the nails and skin in a relaxed, friendly, and clean environment.
Role Responsibilities:
-Provide high-quality nail care services for guests by exceeding customer service and technical skill expectations. Nail services offered at our spa include, but are not limited to, manicures, pedicures, natural nails, acrylic nails, Gel-X or Poly-Gel enhancements, and nail art.
-Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat appointments.
-Assess each client’s nail condition and consult with them to assess their requirements, make informed recommendations, explain services, assist them in selecting appropriate treatments, and ensure their care and satisfaction.
-Ensure treatments start and end on time.
-Maintain the company standards of hygiene, sterilization, cleanliness, and appearance for all areas.
-Attend company paid nail care training or nail care coursework to improve skills, techniques, and methods.
-Adhere to nail care policies about chemical usage, as well as cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of equipment.
-Set up and take down equipment between services.
-Ensure that nail care supplies are adequately stocked.
-Participate in spa marketing program including promotions, photoshoots, client events, etc. Provide social media content consistently.
-Follow and reinforce proper sales techniques for the sale of retail products consistently.
