We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Sales Support person to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide crucial support to our outside commercial sales department, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves interacting with customers, and is eager to support the Outside Salespeople in meeting the needs of our amazing customers. Pay is based upon experience.
Summary: Provides wide range of administrative responsibilities and daily support of the Outside Sales Team as well as the store sales team, including assisting customers in the store, creating estimates, assisting contractors, and other responsibilities as directed by the Sales Manager and the sales team that they will be supporting.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all company policies and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the sales process.
- Assists with customer support within the store in a professional manner.
- Assist the sales team with technical sales inquiries and product information.
- Daily support to the outside sales team, the Sales Manager, helps the inside sales team as needed fostering a high level of team work.
- Sources special order material from vendors.
- Assist with the compilation and report on daily, weekly, and monthly sales numbers.
- Assisting pre-sales with compiling proposals, take-offs, supplier pricing, tender returns under guidance of sales manager.
- Support of Sales Manager and Sales Team with administrative tasks including log of active projects, communicate with accounts to ensure timely invoicing, ensure processes are followed.
- Other responsibilities as directed by supervisory staff.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years minimum experience in retail sales environment.
- 2-3 years’ experience in construction sales and sales support/customer service.
- Proficient in excel based systems and data manipulation.
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to multitask and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.
