**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health in a professional and compassionate manner. Salary based upon experience. Quarterly production bonus available. Monday- Thursday schedule.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform dental prophylaxis & periodontal maintenance
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Support general dentistry procedures and pediatric dentistry services
- Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection
- Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling and charting
**Qualifications:**
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices and pediatric dentistry principles
- Experience with Dentrix software for patient management
