The Coffee By Design Specialty Coffee Sales Representatives is responsible for identifying, growing, and maintaining wholesale partners. The Sales Representative supports the vision of the wholesale sales strategy, achieving excellent sales results and meeting the outlined wholesale sales budgetary goals. The Sales Representative is a Brand Ambassador for Coffee By Design's reputation for exceptional service and products.

JOB POSITION
Job Title: Specialty Coffee Sales Representative
Position reports to: Coffee By Design Owner
Works directly with: Owner, Director of Operations, Head Roaster, Production
Manager and Director of Customer Service
Hours: Full-time
Wage: $80,000 per year

JOB DUTIES
OPERATIONS
· Obtain and retain wholesale relationships and help grow their sales
· Participate in collaborative environment, working as a small team to set goals which support the wholesale sales strategy, achieving excellent sales results and meeting agreed upon wholesale sales budgetary goals
· Help troubleshoot equipment / training issues and organize additional service
· Recommend additional products/ services based on customer needs
· Immediately report any issues, red flags or areas that need direct attention
· Manage internal requests and inquiries
· Provide answers to wholesale accounts receivable/payable questions
· Relay pertinent customer information to Roastery and Tech Team
· Maintain education on current coffee and products
· Submit weekly reports to leadership
· The ability to self-start and be proactive in providing solutions
· Multi-task and demonstrate initiative with routine tasks
· Participate in Coffee By Design community events and coffee cuppings
· Demonstrate change agility and thrive in an adaptable environment

· Proven specialty food and beverage and/or hospitality sales experience
· Excellence in communication skills with the ability to explain and educate potential customers and existing customers on all aspects of CBD's coffee, roastery and standards
· Demonstrates intellectual curiosity around all aspects of coffee and educational
training
· Strong multi-tasking, time management, and both written and verbal communication skills
· Excellence in drive and energy to build out a robust daily schedule of garnering
new wholesale customers and maintaining existing customers
· Strong organizational skills with emphasis on managing customer profiles, contact sheets, and calendars
· Ability to work under pressure and tight daily deadlines
· Display professionalism and enthusiasm for CBD in appearance, communication, and manner of interaction
· Demonstrate basic understanding of the use and maintenance on equipment such as espresso machines and brewing equipment
· Must demonstrate regular attendance by coming to work on scheduled working
days and be on time. May be required to work a variety of days and shifts to meet business needs including weekends and holidays.
· Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.

Physical Requirements
The Specialty Coffee Sales Representative is an "on the go" position and must be
able to be active for long periods of time.
Ability to lift to 20 lbs. of product
Schedule & Reliable Transportation
Reliable transportation is a must.
Clean driving record
All Coffee By Design team members are part of the larger Coffee By Design community and as such, attend additional trainings and meetings which may include regular management meetings, educational workshops on Coffee, leadership, and sustainable practices (finance, environmental, diversity and inclusion to name a few).
