The Physician Assistant (PA) plays a crucial role in the healthcare team, providing high-quality medical care to patients. That is why I opened Aurora Healthcare family practice, no 24-26 patients per day for our providers. We provide our patients with a high quality of patient driven care. We use a robust EMR that allows for completion of charts easily while seeing patients. We are looking for a provider who puts the patients first, has a positive attitude, and is a team player. We alternate after hours call at this time. We are looking for a full-time provider but would possibly consider part- time. Must have an unincumbered license, active DEA, and Board Certification.
We are a private practice, located in Fairfield Maine. We are looking for either new grads or experienced providers.
We see all ages from birth to 100. We provide in office visits, tele-health visits, and in home visits to our homebound patients. We have in house lab services and provide IV therapy, as well as we treat many acute illness and injuries, along with a full spectrum of family care services. WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE TWO PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS Offering a 4-day work week.

Role:
You will manage your own panel of patients.
Must have experience with EMR systems.

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, dialyzing, and applying aseptic techniques in the operating room (OR).
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of their conditions.
- Maintain accurate patient records using ICD-9 coding for diagnoses.
- Participate in critical care management as needed.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical practices and public health initiatives.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Proficient in patient care techniques and procedures.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control measures.
- Ability to work effectively in an operating room environment.
- Understanding of nutritional needs related to various ailments.
