Overview:
The Content Marketing Writer will be responsible for creating clear, engaging, and compelling content that aligns with BerryDunn’s brand and resonates with our target audience. Collaborating with our subject matter experts, you will develop ideas for various writing projects, including articles, blogs, scripts, or marketing materials. You’ll ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all content, while adhering to deadlines and project requirements. Additionally, you will revise and edit drafts to enhance clarity and impact and stay up to date with industry trends to continually innovate and improve our position in market and keep our content fresh and relevant.

You Will:
- Write and edit copy for newsletters, web pages, articles, success stories, bios, and others collateral as needed.
- Collaborate with content teams to set publishing schedules in alignment with practice groups, conferences, and business plans.
- Work with internal stakeholders to write, source, and deliver content efficiently across various platforms.
- Edit copy for readability, grammar, and syntax, ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Review and refine content from subject matter experts (SMEs), collaborating with authors to enhance style, organization, and voice.
- Manage re-publication permissions with external publications and internal compliance.
- Align content creation with marketing goals and audience needs, collaborating with SMEs on content development.
- Oversee the editing and publishing of digital content on platforms like HubSpot and CMS, including newsletters, articles, bios, and more.
- Research relevant news for e-newsletters and content ideas.
- Maintain the content library and publishing logs for message consistency across teams.
- Create SEO-optimized headlines and leads to enhance engagement and lead generation.
- Establish archival and content expiration processes.
- Stay current with marketing technologies to improve content development.
You Have:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (required).
- 5+ years of professional writing experience, preferably in B2B.
- A skill for detail and organization, yet flexible, and adept at solving problems creatively.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple integrated initiatives simultaneously.
- The ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Superior language, grammar, and proofreading skills.
- Experience using content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Knowledge of social, digital, and email marketing best practices.
- Experience using AI prompts and reviewing content generated from AI a plus.
Compensation Details:
The base salary range targeted for this role is $70,000/yr - $80,000/yr. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
