Job Title: Post-Harvest Technician (Cannabis Trimmer)
Pay Rate: $17.50/Hour

Schedule: Full Time Shift, M-F, 8am-4:30pm

Brilliant Buds is an Adult Use Cultivation and Processing Facility located in Bethel, ME.
The Post-Harvest Technician is responsible for assisting managers in day-to-day functions at the Bethel, ME cultivation and processing facility. Post-harvest technicians have the opportunity to play an integral role in quality control.
Duties:
-Complete Post-Harvest Duties including: harvesting, deep cleaning, drying, bucking, trimming, weighing and packaging of marijuana
-Assist the Cultivation department in defoliation and cleaning
-Ensure marijuana waste is properly recorded and disposed of
-Ensure inventory is properly handled and maintained
-Follow all established SOPs and ensure compliance is met
-Follow all PPE signage and policies in place
-General maintenance and cleaning of scissors and trim machines-General cleaning of common spaces
-Operate all equipment safely in its intended manner
-Maintain a sterile environment in processing rooms
Qualifications & Skills:
-Must be 21 years of age, or older as required by the Maine OMP
-Able to pass all background checks as mandated by Maine OMP
-Pass a drug test (cannabis excluded)
-Attention to detail and desire to produce a high quality product
-Basic weight and measurement skills, ability to operate a scale
-Able to complete tasks in a timely manner and meet quotas
-Maintain regular and punctual attendance
-Must be available for overtime, including weekends and holidays
Working Conditions:
-Must be able to sit and/or stand for 8-hour shifts
-Repetitive use of hands and fingers
-This position will be exposed to terpenes, cleaning chemicals
