Back to basics is hiring individuals who will be responsible for assisting and facilitating independence in children and adolescents who have varying developmental and intellectual disabilities. You would be going into the clients home and surrounding community and helping them achieve independence by working on behavioral management skills, daily living skills, and socialization skills. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing direct care and support to individuals receiving section 28 services. A Day in the Life of a Behavioral Health Professional: As a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) you are working 1:1 with a child in their home and in your local community. Our BHP’s make a huge impact in the lives of the children/adolescents that we provide services for, through role modeling and personal support. You get to assist the child/adolescent foster independence and achieve developmental milestones!
Behavioral Health Professional Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of licensed professionals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, progress, and treatment interventions. Communicate effectively with the treatment team regarding patient needs and progress.
- Accurately complete and submit necessary paperwork every shift Follow plans created by treatment team and be communicative with other members of team.
- Transporting clients in your vehicle around the community
- Help support client with daily needs such as hygiene routines, chores, eating, social skills, homework, etc.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.50 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
