The position of Inventory Coordinator is within our Infectious Disease – Lateral Flow Business Unit located in Maine. This role will perform inventory movement and clerical duties in the materials control area, such as (but not limited to): issuing materials, processing transactions, investigating variances. Work is performed in accordance with established materials control, inventory, warehousing and purchasing procedures. Takes initiative to improve work product and processes. Reviewing work of peers for quality and content. Adapting existing work methods to different situations. Assuring that quality of services meets internal and external customer requirements. May represent organization and resolve problems/determine priorities related to the above.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in cycle count process and physical inventories.
- Research any material variances within 5% and work closely with the cycle count team, manufacturing, and the Inventory Control Supervisor to resolve any discrepancies.
- Reconcile RMS staging locations and Warehouse inventory locations regularly to ensure location accuracy.
- Creates and maintains all types of material transaction records, such as receipts, transfers, issues, returns, shipments, and adjustments.
- Coordinates material transfers and consumption of materials in SAP by interfacing with production personnel.
- Prepares reports and inventory analyses as required.
- Provide data entry support in the event of a complete plant physical inventory.
- Responsible for keeping an accurate inventory of all raw materials in the plant.
- Notifies supervisor of the need to process SAP transactions and of any difficulties that cannot be readily corrected.
- Responsible for cycle counts on a routine basis to ensure that proper inventory levels are kept.
- Establish, coordinate, and perform cycle counting schedule for raw materials to ensure all inventories are confirmed on a monthly basis and that all plant/Division perpetual records are adjusted accordingly.
- Perform system out of balance and negative inventory counts as needed.
- Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma / GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years of inventory control experience.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and Company operating procedures, processes, policies and rules.
- Must be proficient in using various PC-based software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar word processing/spreadsheet software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree preferred.

The base pay for this position is $19.60 – $39.20 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
