Camp Laurel, a premier residential children’s camp in the beautiful Belgrade Lakes region of Maine, is seeking a full-time Campus Facilities & Grounds Technician to join our year-round Buildings, Grounds & Operations team.
This is a great opportunity to work at one of the most respected summer camps in the Northeast and be part of a small, hardworking team that maintains our 150-acre campus.
Responsibilities
The Campus Facilities & Grounds Technician works directly with our Facilities Manager to maintain all buildings, grounds, and equipment across camp.
• Light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
• Equipment maintenance and repairs
• General facilities support across the property
• Landscaping and grounds maintenance
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, landscaping, or general maintenance
• Enjoys hands-on work and problem solving
• Is reliable, hardworking, and flexible
• Can work independently and as part of a team
We will consider experienced tradespeople and motivated individuals eager to learn.
Position Details

• Starting salary: $50,000
