Job Description
Newman Homes is seeking motivated and reliable general laborers to assist with residential home construction projects from framing through finish work. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a team building high-quality homes.
No carpentry experience is required. Individuals with construction or labor experience are encouraged to apply, but we are willing to train dependable workers who are eager to learn.
Responsibilities
• Job site cleanup and organization
• Assisting carpenters and crew members with daily tasks
• Loading and unloading building materials
• Moving materials around job sites
• Basic use of hand tools
• Supporting framing, siding, and finish work as needed
• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Comfortable working with a team
• Construction or labor experience is a plus but not required
• Valid driver's license preferred
