STOCK CLERK / RECEIVER
Full Time - Monday thru Friday
For 5 decades, The Curtainshop of Maine has been Maine’s leading retailer for window treatments, bed and bath products, and home furnishings. We’re currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented warehouse/inventory receiver & shipper to manage inbound and outbound freight at our largest showroom located in South Portland.
Position will mostly focus on receiving inbound product, staging merchandise and packaging orders for outbound delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Self-starter with attention to detail
• Able to lift 35-50 lbs. and perform physical work with no limitations or restrictions
• Good with numbers and strong computer skills with the ability to learn different software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Presentable and professional and able to work with both co-workers and customers
• Strong work ethic - reliable, dependable and responsible
• Ability to complete some light duty cleaning
• Previous warehouse/stockroom experience is ideal, but not required
