Working Pool Restoration Lead is responsible for leading and working alongside a crew to complete pool renovation projects from demolition through final finish. This role is a hands-on leadership position responsible for job site productivity, workmanship quality, safety, and project progress. The Lead is expected to set the pace work on site, solve problems in the field, and ensure projects are completed on schedule. This position oversees a crew of 2–3 field technicians and may require travel and occasional overnight stays depending on project location.
Field Leadership & Production
•Work with and alongside crew daily; performing demolition, prep, tile install (waterline, trim), coping, plaster prep, and finish work
•Set daily production goals and ensure the crew stays on task and on schedule
•Lead by example with work ethic, attitude, and workmanship
•Ensure yourself and the crew is always working efficiently and safely
•Take responsibility for daily job progress
Project Execution
•Oversee and contributes to all phases of pool restoration from start to completion
•Read and interpret plans, specifications, and scopes of work
•Plan daily and weekly workflow to maintain project timelines
•Adjust workflow and sequencing based on site conditions and unforeseen issues
Crew Management
•Assign daily tasks and manage crew productivity
•Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and procedures
•Maintain accountability for crew quality, conduct, and efficiency
•Report any personnel issues to management
Quality Control
•Inspect all work before moving to the next phase
•Ensure proper prep is completed before tile, coping, plaster, etc.
•Maintain company quality standards on every project
•Complete punch list items before leaving a project
Scheduling & Coordination
•Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are on site when needed
•Communicate progress, delays, and job needs with management
•Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades
Safety & Job Site Management
•Enforce OSHA and company safety standards
•Maintain a clean and organized job site
•Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
Client Communication
•Act as the on-site point of contact for homeowners
•Provide progress updates and set expectations
•Handle client questions and concerns professionally
Experience Level
• Experienced / Seasoned Foreman/Lead preferred
