MSAD #53 is seeking a highly motivated and educationally passionate individual for the position of Director of Curriculum for our PK-8 school district.
Responsibilities include overseeing curriculum, instruction and assessment; Gifted and Talented programming; ESEA grant writing and management; and staff professional development planning and implementatoin. As well, the selected candidate will serve as a liaison between the district and Maine Central Institute (MCI). Position will remain open until a suitable candidate is selected.
This position is part of the District Administrative Team.

Admin. 34 Professional K-12 (078) Curriculum Coordinator Certification
Educational leadership experience
Skilled in communication, collaboration, and problem solving
Start Date: July 1, 2026
