Caring Hearts Childcare Center is a new nonprofit childcare organization that is opening in Fall
of 2026. At Caring Hearts, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to shine. Our mission
is to empower families by providing affordable and exceptional childcare in a nurturing
environment. We are dedicated to inspiring each child to discover their unique gifts, build
confidence and develop the skills they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally
while cultivating a community where every child is valued, every family is supported and lifelong
learning flourishes.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced childcare director to lead our early childhood
education program in Falmouth, ME. This is a full-time leadership role for overseeing daily
operations, staff supervision, curriculum development and licensing compliance of our childcare
center. We are looking for someone with experience in play-based education. The ideal
candidate will bring strong leadership skills and commitment to creating a safe, enriching
environment where children thrive. The position works closely with the Board of Directors to
ensure program excellence, financial sustainability and community engagement.
Qualifications & Essential Requirements
Bachelors Degree in ECE or related field with a Minimum 3 Years of Experience
OR Associates Degree in ECE or related field with a Minimum of 5 Years Experience
CPR and First Aid Certification required within 60 days of hire
Strong Leadership Skills
Team player with superb interpersonal skills.
General computer skills with the ability to effectively learn and use new software.
Prior experience contributing directly to a successful child care program that has created
a stimulating, professional environment where employees have grown personally and
professionally.
Salary: $ 65,000-$85,000
