Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, friendly, dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper, Laundress, and Ironer to maintain the cleanliness and organization, and overall presentation of our home. There is a full crew that comes for large cleanings, but we need a mature person to come once a week to help with the above. The weekly cleaning will primarily include the kitchen/pantry/bar areas and the master bedroom suite. That includes changing the sheets. The ironing is for miscellaneous clothing. There may be other items to clean and/or iron each week as needed.
An experienced candidate who knows how to iron is needed. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, bring enthusiasm for cleaning and laundry tasks, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface polishing to uphold cleanliness standards in specific rooms as noted. .
- Manage laundry by washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
- Iron garments and linens to ensure crispness and presentation quality for all items.
- Maintain meticulous sanitation practices across all areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
- Handle floor care tasks such as carpet cleaning, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests and ensuring owner satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or hotel housekeeping with strong attention to detail.
- Skilled in laundry operations including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques.
- Proficient in using cleaning equipment such as vacuums and mops.
- Knowledgeable about sanitation standards and janitorial best practices for maintaining hygienic environments.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks effectively across various surfaces including tile, hardwood, carpet, and vinyl.
- Ability to polish bathroom fixtures as needed.
- Excellent personal skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
