Travel Required Between Programs Position
Our Residential Treatment Centers in Maine and New Hampshire are seeking a fully licensed Therapist to provide clinical services across both programs.
This floating role is designed to support census needs, coverage gaps, and program growth while ensuring continuity of high-quality, trauma-informed care.The ideal candidate is independently licensed, adaptable, organized, and comfortable working within structured residential environments serving adolescents and/or young adults with complex behavioral health needs.
Candidates located within the New England region are strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted independent clinical license required (e.g., LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LPC, or equivalent)
- Ability to obtain licensure in both Maine and New Hampshire (if not already licensed in both states)
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
- Experience in residential treatment, acute care, PHP/IOP, or adolescent behavioral health preferred
- Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with EMR systems
- Willingness and ability to travel between Maine and New Hampshire programs as needed
- New England–based candidates strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy services in accordance with program model and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a caseload across both RTC programs, adjusting as census and coverage needs fluctuate
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, education, and direct care staff to ensure integrated treatment planning
- Communicate effectively with families, referral sources, and outside providers
