Full Time Therapist, Mental Health Program
Casco Bay Recovery is seeking a therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in our Portland facility as it expands its continuum of care to better meet the diversified needs of its clients. This position would be a primary therapist role for the evening IOP program.
Position Summary
Primary clinical duties shall include: intake and assessment; care coordination; crisis intervention; one on one sessions; group sessions and clinical case management. The Therapist also works with their assigned case load to develop treatment planning and referrals for their clients. Other counseling services and administrative responsibilities include treatment planning, record keeping and documentation, and other clinical duties as assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide excellent evidenced based treatment to clients to ensure treatment goals are met consistently and timely for all program requirements. Provides educational oversight for clients on functions related to care planning. Strives to provide and exceed quality performance improvement standards for patient care. All therapists are expected to function as active members of their teams. The position is full time Monday through Friday from 1 PM to 9 PM.
Education, Licensure & Experience
LCSW, LCPC, LCPC-c, LMSW-cc required
Two or more years work experience in a mental health treatment setting required
Prior experience with clinical methods and techniques used in individual, family and group therapy as related to mental health and/or substance abuse issues is required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
