Diesel and Hydraulic Shop Mechanic
Drilling & Blasting Rock Specialists, Inc. in Gardiner, Maine has an immediate opening for an experienced Diesel and Hydraulic Shop Mechanic. This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining diesel equipment and vehicles including rock drills, trucks, tractor trailer, trailers, excavators, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
· Repairing and maintaining diesel equipment and vehicles.
· Accurately maintain vehicle records to include services and repairs, inspections etc.
· Abide by Company policies and procedures.
· Other duties and special projects as assigned.
· Must have a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles and equipment.
· Must be able to maneuver under truck or trailer.
· Must have good verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff, management, and vendors.
· Must be a detail oriented, self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks.
