We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to be part of our team located in Augusta, Maine. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the healthcare industry. With a key focus on the management and processing of accounts payable, you will be expected to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all your responsibilities. Mainecare experience is desired.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately processing customer's credit applications.
• Conducting account reconciliation to ensure correctness of entries.
• Handling accounts payable tasks including invoice processing and check runs.
• Managing coding invoices to ensure they are correctly classified.
• Performing data entry tasks to maintain and update customer records.
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data organization and financial analysis.
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.
• Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensuring all financial records are maintained accurately.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Check Runs
• Knowledge in Coding Invoices
• Proficient in Data Entry tasks
• Experience in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
• Relevant certification or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
