Other Side Diner - in Portlands East Deering is searching for a weekend host, and a part time server.
We are not your typical Diner. We are a smaller restaurant open for breakfast and lunch, 7 days a week from 8am -3pm.
We take pride in making most of our menu items in house, like our biscuits and sausage gravy, corned beef hash, lamb sausage and more.
Searching for a host to join our team on the weekends. Looking for someone that has both Saturday and Sunday availability. This position also has the opportunity to pick up weekday serving shifts and the possibility of more shifts when summer arrives.
As a host your duties include: greeting & seating guests, managing a waitlist, helping with phone take out orders. Assisting servers with bussing and resetting and running food. We are a small team who all work together to get the job done.
We are also looking for a part time server to join our team. One weekday shift and Saturday & Sunday.
As a server you are in charge of greeting guests, preparing beverages, taking orders, running food, pre-bussing, closing out your tables and resetting. We are a small team and even though you have a section we all look out for each other and help service run smoothly.
