The Assistant Bread Manager supports the Bread Manager in supervising all aspects of the Bread Department at our Portland bakery. They are dedicated to maintaining a productive, satisfying, and respectful workspace for all bread employees while co-leading their team in Rosemont's standards of quality and efficiency. The Assistant Bread Manager also participates in ongoing inventory management, cost analysis, and business strategy efforts to improve departmental sales and margins.
In this position, you can expect to:
Lead by example and support 8-12 team members in their growth and development.
Use data to develop and improve processes with a focus on efficiency, quality and consistency.
Apply industry standard best practices in a small business setting.
Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are met or exceeded.
Collaborate with co-workers on baking, packaging, process improvement and cleaning projects.
Work with ingredients from here and away and participate in seasonal menu development.

Wage:
$52,000 - $56,160 annually ($25-$27/hr) based on experience
This is an exempt position.
