JOB TITLE: Dishwasher Part Time
Wage & Compensation Scale
• PAY RANGE: $16.00 – $21.00 per hour
• COMPENSATION TYPE: Hourly Position
• ADDITIONAL: Standard overtime rules apply for hours worked beyond 40 hours in a single designated workweek.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Soaks, washes and store dishes, glassware, flatware, pots/pans. Operates dishwasher machine, adding detergent and switching out wate cycle. Returns clean dishes to the cooking line or appropriate storage area. Picks up dirty pots/pans from the line. Helps with additional cleaning projects and kitchen maintenance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Cleans all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots/pans. o Operates dishwashing machine.
• Returns all clean dishes and cooking pans/utensils to appropriate storage location.
• Completes additional cleaning projects as assigned.
• Completes additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintains all food safety and health code regulations.
Physical Requirements
• Standing/Walking: Ability to stand and walk for the entire duration of a shift, often 8 to 10 hours.
• Lifting/Carrying: Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly, such as heavy stacks of plates, full dish racks, and large pots or pans.
• Manual Dexterity: High level of hand and finger coordination required for safely handling fragile glassware and scrubbing various kitchen utensils.
• Range of Motion: Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and crouching to load/unload machines and store items in low or high storage areas.
• Visual Acuity: Ability to inspect dishes for cleanliness and ensure all food debris is removed before storage.
• Environmental Tolerance: Ability to work in a humid, high-heat environment and withstand frequent exposure to water and industrial cleaning chemicals.
