Cornerstone Building + Restoration is hiring...
We’re a crew that’s small but mighty strong, where coffee is hot and days aren’t too long.
From sunrise beams to trim just right, we build, restore, and make homes bright.
We’re searching far (but not too wide), within distance of Portland’s side—
For a carpenter seasoned, ten years deep, who knows their joints and cuts don’t weep.
You’ll take direction when plans are clear, then run the show when none appear.
Self-driven, sharp, with skills that stick, from frame to finish—clean and quick.
Bring the humor too (it’s kind of required), cause jobsite laughs keep spirits inspired.
Got a valid license? Great. A truck that’s flat? You’ll haul the goods—we like that.
Experience vast, your knowledge wide, you’re basically woodworking personified.
Pay? It matches what you bring. Hours? M–F, a reasonable thing—
7am to 3:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch unpaid, (often kicking back outside, under the shade).
Projects? Residential, fix and renew, breathing old homes a life that’s new.
Perks you ask? We’ve got a few: 8 paid holidays just for you
401k with a match (not a trick), health, dental, vision—you pick,
So if this poem has struck a chord, and you’re handy with hammer, nail, and board—
Send your resume, don’t be late: abaldwin@cornerstonebr.com is the gate!
Subject line: CARPENTER (nice and bold), let’s build great things—and get stories told.
(Yes, we are a real company. Yes, we are hiring. Yes, we would like to hear from YOU!)
